least I think
it's spring. You
can’t always be
sure with the
New England
weather.
As
I write this
newsletter, Kate
and I are
preparing to
attend one of
our favorite
meetings of the
year – SOMSA! We
love to connect
with colleagues,
see old friends,
make new friends
and network,
network,
network so we
can teach and
learn as much
about this
industry as
possible.
This
year, I will be
speaking on
Sunday morning,
4/24 and
presenting my
“Untangling
the
Web”
coding course.
As usual, we
will have open
discussions on
what is
happening in the
industry right
now.
Some examples
will be the
changes with the
Medicare
Advantage Plans
and how the
change impacts
Opted Out
Providers. I am
also certain the
No Surprises Act
will be brought
up as well; my
gosh that one
has thrown some
of us for a
loop. I will be
finishing up the
conference on
Wednesday, 4/27
with a round
table
discussion. I am
honored to be
opening the
session on
Sunday and
closing it out
on
Wednesday!
Kate
